Tatar Sunday School meets every Sunday and the volunteer teachers help educate the youngsters by providing Tatar language class, teach Tatar songs and dances and organize children's plays. Local teachers' are assisted by the VTAs from Kazan visiting California on three-month long assignments.

Volunteer teachers Dilare Capanoglu and Nazligol Gabdurrahmanova in collaboration with Nadia Pavlova produced and published a "Tatar Pictorial Dictionary" for Tatar language students. At present they are working on a second book to be entitled" "Tatar Verbs and Phrases."
