Programs and Services
Cultural Programs
Since the beginning, the ATTA and its members have always placed great emphasis on preserving Tatar language, culture and traditions for themselves and future generations. We continue that mission today through various programs, events and activities that preserve and celebrate Tatar culture.
These include the annual Sabantuy, performances by the ATTA singing group Ay Bılbılım, our Tatar Bake Sale, cultural classes for children, guest lectures, and special musical concerts featuring renowned Tatar artists from around the world.

Religious Services
One of the principal purposes of founding the ATTA was to organize the local Tatars in observing and practicing many aspects of the Islam religion together as a community. Since the ATTA's inception, religious services, holidays and activities have consistently been at the heart of numerous gatherings.
These include nightly teravih prayers during the month of Ramazan, community celebrations for Ramazan Bayram (Eid-al-Fitr), Kurban Bayram (Eid-al-Adha) and Mevlud Bayram, funeral services, and memorial hatim readings for deceased members.

Community Engagement
In its early years, the ATTA was an essential part of helping Tatar immigrants acclimate to life in the USA. In addition to cultural and religious activities, many social programs and events were designed with the simple goal of bringing Tatars together, both in our own Bina and at local functions. Understanding the continuous need to unite Tatars, we continue to hold events and activities towards achieving this goal.
Over the years, these have included dinner/dance parties like Sarık Kicä and the Tatar Winter Celebration, festive events like New Year's celebrations and Karaoke Nights, group outings to local exhibits or performances, and even attending local baseball or football games.
